Welcome from the Headteacher

The information presented to you has been written with parents, guardians and carers in mind in the hope that it will help to capture what is important to us and emphasising the ethos which underpins everything we set out to do.

From the outset, you will recognise Rosedale Primary to be a welcoming school where adults show genuine care and concern for the pupils; where expectations are clearly articulated and aspirations set high. The learning environment is clean, calm and ordered, being organised in such a way that it constantly celebrates success by showcasing the progress and achievement of its pupils. Our school encourages a strong sense of belonging through its inclusive ethos and distinctive uniform.  The whole school and its community have a clear and tangible sense of purpose, working tirelessly to ensure that every child is able to succeed. Above all else, families can be clear that we consider their children’s achievement as the highest possible priority within a caring and supportive environment.  We want all children to enjoy their learning, commit to behaving well by treating everyone with respect; coming to school every day, on time, in uniform and ready to learn.
